This award is in recognition of his work with the two pan-African technology companies, and for his work with Higherlife Foundation. The charity he founded with his wife Tsitsi in 1996.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through Cassava Technologies and Econet Mr Masiyiwa works tirelessly to \u2018transform the lives of individuals and businesses across the continent by enabling social mobility and economic prosperity\u2019. During the pandemic, he served as a special envoy of the African Union, coordinating the Africa Vaccine Acquisition Task Team.
